Plate ‘n’ Sheet Professional © is produced by R & L CAD Services Pty Ltd, now located in Hervey Bay, Queensland Australia. 

Plate ‘n’ Sheet unfolding software came into being while the author was living and working in Mackay, heartland of the Australian coal mining and sugar industries. The aim was to provide these industries with a tool to quickly and accurately generate flat patterns for custom pipe-work, chutes and transitions.

The program has been through several upgrades since its beginning in 1996, improving and growing in response to user feedback.  Representatives frequently visit workplaces to gather feedback and ensure that the program is meeting industry needs.

 Plate ‘n’ Sheet Professional is used in many more applications and industries where the rapid and accurate unfolding of shapes is required.  It is considered the “Industry Standard” in Australia and New Zealand and is exported to over 20 countries world wide.
